The first 100 days
I had this little countdown app on my phone that would tell me before July 27th how many days until my wedding. I even put the little picture of a bride, a groom and a palm tree on the app so it would be all cute. Cas liked it so much that he had me send him the image for the last few days before our wedding so he could include it in his photo album. It was pretty cute.
Turns out, when you pass the date you were counting down to, the app starts counting up. That's how I know I have been Mrs. Dunlap for 99 days. We are also staring down the barrel of a presidential election, and a lot of candidates like to make promises about what they would do with the first 100 days. I thought this was a good opportunity to recap. Cas and I have nearly had our first 100 days. So far, so good.
We came home.
We had the world's most unique reception weekend.
We spend the last weekend before school floating down a river on an inner tube.
We went to a wedding in Duluth
We had birthdays. One each.
We learned a lot of Spanish
We went on a sky coaster
We beat an escape room
We did some rather dull, adult-y things, too. We've compared medical insurance policies and I have gone through about a half dozen name change procedures with different organizations and state agencies.
But, as far as the first 100 days ago, I think we are doing pretty well.
